Body Relics is the debut album from Robert Katerwol (Weird Candle, Wire Spine, Verboden Festival [Organizer]) under the solo moniker of Total Chroma. Initially released digitally, but a limited pressing of 100 has been made available. Body Relics is a breath of fresh life in the Body Music scene with it’s unique Darkwave atmosphere interwoven with lush, cold synths.

Conceptually, Body Relics was loosely inspired by a mishmash of fictional realities depicted in the various Philip K. Dick stories I was obsessed with at the time of writing.

In January 2019 on a shoestring budget, I began recording the album with my friend Sasha K in a cold dark studio space in the leaking basement of an auto repair shop.

Those were strange and exciting times. I remember warming up by the glow of a heat-dish while listening to vocal and synth overdubs. It felt like we were recording in a nuclear submarine.

Eventually, our weekly recording sessions started to churn out the bones that over time formed the skeleton, flesh, and body of "Body Relics".
